Creating a product with high hold is simple: you add more wax, petrolatum, or fixing polymers. Creating a formula that provides structural shape while remaining completely weightless is one of the hardest challenges in cosmetic science.
Most light creams on the market suffer from one of two flaws. They are either diluted conditioners that offer zero real hold once dry, or they rely on alcohol-heavy resins that leave the hair crunchy and brittle. For five years, our chemists adjusted water-to-emollient ratios, tested plant-derived waxes, and perfected our signature candy fragrance blends. If a prototype left a greasy film on a barber’s hands after styling, we threw the batch out. If a cream dried too fast on towel-dried hair before a client could work it through their layers, we restarted from scratch.
