There is an idea in business that growth means being everywhere.
More shops. More distributors. More shelves.
We don’t believe that.
Hairbond wants to grow. We want more great barbers using it, more great retailers selling it and ambitious distributors taking it into new markets.
But we don’t want Hairbond everywhere.
We want to work with the best people who want the best.
Built Behind the Chair
Hairbond began in 2008.
Not in a boardroom. Behind the chair.
It came from understanding that the haircut is only part of the job. The finish matters. The product matters. What the customer sees when they finally look in the mirror matters.
Nearly two decades later, Hairbond has travelled around the world.
We’ve built our reputation with professional barbers, hairdressers and customers largely through product, recommendation and word of mouth.
Today there are hundreds of reviews of Hairbond products online.
Because advertising can make somebody buy something once.
A great product makes them buy it again.
Premium Has to Mean Something
Everyone calls themselves premium now.
Put something in a black box. Add some gold. Increase the price.
Premium.
We see it differently.
Premium starts with the product.
How it feels. How it works through the hair. The control. The texture. The fragrance. The finish.
And whether you miss it when the jar runs out.
Hairbond products aren’t created simply because we need another SKU.
They need a reason to exist.
Take Super Fibre.
It took nearly two years to develop because the objective wasn’t to get another product onto the market quickly.
The objective was to get it right.
Performance first. Everything else follows.
Why Premium Works for Retailers
Hair products have something retailers should love.
They run out.
A customer sits in the chair.
The barber finishes the haircut with Hairbond.
The customer looks in the mirror and asks:
“What did you use?”
They buy it.
They use it at home.
Eventually the jar is empty.
If the product has done its job, they come back.
That’s proper retail.
Not chasing one sale. Creating a customer who wants another one.
We Don’t Want Five Stockists on the Same Street
This matters.
We would rather have one brilliant Hairbond partner in an area than five average ones.
Put the same brands in every shop, on every website and on every marketplace and eventually the only thing left to compete on is price.
We don’t want that for Hairbond.
So we’re selective.
We look at the business. We look at the area. We look at existing representation. And we look at whether Hairbond belongs there.
Once we’re happy with the representation in an area, we may stop adding accounts there.
Your area may still be open.
We’re Looking for Barbers and Salons
Hairbond belongs behind the chair.
A great barber or hairdresser has something an algorithm doesn’t.
Trust.
You know the customer’s hair. You created the cut. When they ask what they should use at home, your recommendation means something.
We’re not necessarily looking for the biggest shops or the ones with the most followers.
We’re looking for people who care about their craft and what they put into their clients’ hair.
We’re Looking for Retailers
Independent grooming stores. Menswear. Lifestyle. Professional beauty. Specialist ecommerce.
Hairbond has history, a recognisable identity, established products, hundreds of customer reviews and roots in professional hairdressing.
It also has something even more important.
Repeat purchase.
If your customers value good products over cheap products, we should talk.
We’re Looking for Distributors Who Build Brands
This is where the opportunity gets bigger.
We’re opening conversations with distributors in selected markets.
There are distributors who carry brands.
And there are distributors who build brands.
We want the second kind.
Partners who understand their market. Who know the barbers, retailers and professional channels. Who have the relationships to make things happen.
Hairbond brings the brand, products, history, creative, editorial and nearly two decades of experience.
You bring the market.
Then we build it together.
If you believe you could grow Hairbond in your territory:
Something New Is Coming
Hairbond is entering one of its biggest product periods in years.
Distorter. Shaper. Super. Wonder.
They built the foundations.
Now the range is growing.
DRIFTER
A styling crème for movement, texture and styles that shouldn’t look frozen in place.
FORGER
A putty built for structure, definition and strong matte control.
VECTOR
A styling gum for separation, precision and polished control.
Three products.
Three jobs.
Not the same product wearing three different labels.
Hair changes. Fashion changes. What customers want changes.
Hairbond keeps moving too.
More Than a Jar
We’re building beyond the product.
Hairbond Journal gives us somewhere to talk about hair, barbering, style and culture.
Hairbond Barber Division takes our professional identity further.
Our partner network connects us directly with the people recommending Hairbond every day.
New products are coming. New markets are opening.
The ambition isn’t simply to sell more jars. It’s to build a stronger Hairbond.
Our USP Is Simple
Hairbond understands the last five minutes of the haircut.
The cape comes off.
The product goes in.
The shape appears.
The texture appears.
The customer looks in the mirror.
That’s our moment.
We’re not really selling clay, fibre, crème or putty.
We’re selling the finish.
That moment somebody looks at their hair and thinks:
That’s me sorted.
We Want Partners, Not Accounts
An account puts Hairbond on a shelf.
A partner recommends it.
An account makes an order.
A partner creates customers who reorder.
We’re looking for:
Barbershops and salons
Independent and online retailers
Professional wholesalers
Regional distributors
International distributors
And we’re particularly interested in people who look at Hairbond and think:
I know how I could grow this.
If that’s you, tell us who you are, what your business does and where you’re based or the territory you cover.
No thirty page presentation.
Just start the conversation.
Your Area May Still Be Open
Hairbond is going to grow.
But we’re going to grow carefully.
We don’t need to be everywhere.
We need the right people.
People who care about what they sell.
People who protect their reputation.
People who understand the difference between price and value.
We want to work with the best.
The people who want the best.
If that’s you:
